Paul Sinton-Hewitt
Paul is the parkrun CEO and founder. It is his desire that every town in the world should have at least one parkrun. He believes that no one should ever have to pay to run a 5km event. When designing the first parkrun, Paul decided that these events would always be free to the runner and that there would be no barrier to entry, making it possible for everyone in the local community to take part.
Paul is actively involved in the day to day management of parkrun.
Paul is also responsible for the franchise agreements across countries and for the sponsorship agreements in the UK.
Paul can be contacted at (paul@parkrun.com)

Chris Wright
As parkrun Champion, Chris is responsible for the health and well being of the parkrun events and their teams. In practical terms this responsibility can be broken down into three broad areas: policies & principles; communication; and training and Education.
Chris first ran at Bushy Park in 2005 but went on to be a key volunteer at that event. He then led the committee for over a year. Having spent a year managing learning and skills for the Crisis Open Christmas project, Chris joined parkrun in January 2008.
Since joining parkrun, Chris has been instrumental in forging excellent relations with councils, set out clear processes for new our events and delivered a brilliant user experience on the website. He continues to focus on improving the lives of everyone involved by delivering incremental improvements to all that we offer.
Contact Chris if you have a question about the operations at parkrun. (chris@parkrun.com)

Key Volunteers
Many folks do many things in their spare time for parkrun: It is impossible to profile all the volunteers on this page.
We would especially like to thank Richard Leyton for providing key Systems Support to the parkrun group.
We are very grateful and indebted to the many folks who invest regularly to make parkrun a success.
Further Information
Registration
Please register before your first event (you'll never need to do it again) - follow the link at the top of every event's home page: a full list of events can be found here, or if you prefer we also have a map.
Barcodes
To record your result when you run, we will need to scan your personal barcode - please print one off before running. We send links to barcodes out with the weekly newsletter, and with results emails whenever you run - alternatively you can request us to send you a barcode link by email.
Updating your details
Most of the registration details can be updated by following the 'update my details' link in the weekly newsletter or results email whenever you run. Please try this first - any other changes can be sent through to updates@parkrun.com. But please note, we are always very busy (particularly on Fridays and Saturdays), and it may take us some time to process these requests, so do try following the 'update my details' links first. If you do need to get in touch by email, it saves a lot of time if you could provide your full name (as registered with us), date of birth and athlete number (if you know it).
Any other questions
Hopefully the main parkrun pages here, have answered most of your questions, but we also maintain a Frequently Asked Questions list.
