Welcome to another great weekend involving fun, exercise and meeting up with your friends.

Last weekend we welcomed Amamzintoti parkrun in South Africa, Chichester parkrun and Exeter Riverside parkrun in the UK and finally Victor Harbour parkrun in Australia.

It was wonderful to see 53 folks volunteering to ensure that the 697 runners attending these four new events all had a good time. Good luck with your second event this weekend. These folks joined the 62,916 runners and 4,924 volunteers attending parkrun last weekend.

This week we welcome the following new events: Druridge Bay parkrun, Valley parkrun in Newton Abbey and Whitley Bay junior parkruns in the UK, Klerksdorp parkrun in South Africa and Wishart parkrun in Australia.

Good luck to all volunteers and runners. Have a great parkrun day.
